Pastrami Sliced

Pastrami is succulent with a melt-in-the-mouth feel. It is delicious in sandwiches or salads alike and makes for a tasty picnic addition. Pastrami is made from beef brisket. The raw meat has been brined, partially dried, seasoned with herbs and spices, then smoked and steamed.

Like corned beef, pastrami was originally created as a way to preserve meat before the invention of refrigeration. Generally, pastrami has the combined taste of sausage and roast beef.
